I starting shooting well over 40 years ago. I was on the rifle team in high school. Sometime after that I was an avid hunter, and I was also my unit’s marksmanship instructor. I shot competitively for ten years in action pistol matches and I have attended more than a dozen defensive shooting classes to include level I, II, III classes. I am a Certified NRA Pistol Instructor. I assisted in teaching classes with Gideon Defensive Solutions for three years and taught a church security group for four months with twice weekly range sessions.

I began teaching on my own in 2022 with a two-day “Introduction to Pistolcraft” class.
